"I have been blind
Emotionally behind"

-- Depeche Mode

"Having fun, pet?"

Dom tilted his head back and looked at Sean. "Of course. Don't we always?"

"Not disappointed? Dave's party is much calmer than Orli's was." Sean laughed when Dom made a face and leaned back against him on the sofa.

"That was enough excitement for the next few decades." Dom grinned and studied the room.

In what was becoming a very normal sight, Orlando was plastered against Harry's side and the two of them were talking to Elijah. A quick glance showed that Karl was occupied talking to Dave and their conversation involved something that required a lot of wild gestures on Dave's part. Dom laughed, wondered when he could catch the four of them together. If they thought he wasn't going to comment on their new living arrangements, they were wrong.

He went back to studying the room and stopped. "Sean...is that Craig?"

Sean peered over Dom's shoulder, and gaped. "Jesus, it is. Who the hell managed to talk him down from his fortress?"

"Damn, when's the last time we saw him?" Dom continued to stare as the dark-haired vampire moved through the crowd with ease. "Wonder why he showed up for Harry and Dave's party, and not for Karl and Orli's."

"Dunno. Perhaps he heard about all of the excitement, decided to brave the real world." Sean stood, and pulled Dom to his feet. "Come on. Let's go say hi. He's heading for Harry anyway."

"Well, this should be fun." Dom laughed and took Sean's hand, dragging him across the room. "Hi."

Orlando looked over and grinned. "Hey you."

"Lot of people here tonight, Harry," Dom said, doing his best to look innocent.

Harry looked down at Dom, amused. "Yes, it's a party. People do tend to come to them."

"Yeah, it's amazing who will show up at these things," Sean stated, looking everywhere but at Harry.

"Very amazing," Dom added, beginning to whistle softly.

"What's going on?" Elijah frowned at them, looking around quickly.

Orlando glanced up at Harry, confused. "Did I miss something?"

"No, but I think they think I missed something," Harry replied, smiling, then looked up. "Craig!! Glad you could make it." He stepped away from Orlando to pull Craig into a close embrace. "It's been too long."

Craig smiled, kissed Harry's cheek, and brushed an imaginary piece of lint from his suit. "Yes, well, Vig's been telling me so many things lately that I figured I'd come down, have a look for myself. And who is this delectable creature?"

Harry grinned at the startled look on Orlando's face. "Craig, may I introduce you to Orlando Bloom?"

Craig stuck out a hand. "Ah, the infamous Orlando. You are as beautiful as Vig said you'd be."

"Thank you. You're not bad yourself." Orlando studied Craig with wide eyes as they shook hands. "And I'm infamous now? Damn, my reputation precedes me."

"There goes his ego," Elijah muttered to Dom, who laughed.

"Yes, as does your reputation for getting into all kinds of trouble," Craig said.

"Ah, well," Orlando said, blushing and leaning against Harry. "That's not always my fault. Though I'm sure Viggo says otherwise."

Elijah snorted. "Whatever he said, I'm sure it was the truth."

"At least he's more comfortable with Craig than he was with the rest of you," Dom commented.

"You would be, too, if you had his bed partners," Sean said, grinning.

"And speaking of...Harry, where is your better half and your other new pet?" Craig asked, craning his head to look through the crowd.

"Somewhere around, I'm sure," Harry grinned. "Sorry you missed the ceremony."

Craig laughed. "I'm sorry I missed the last party."

"You mean ours or Karl's?" Sean asked.

"Either or. I always miss the good drama."

"Well, if you ever got outside your gates, you'd see more," Dom retorted with a grin.

"There wasn't any drama at your party, Dom," Orlando said as he untangled himself from Harry enough to turn around. Harry wrapped an arm around his waist to hold him in place.

"You forget you got in a fight with Dave?" Dom asked, blinking in astonishment.

"And got stranded at the party when Karl and I left?"

"I fixed all that." Orlando pouted and the others just laughed. "Wasn't anywhere near as dramatic as you throwing me up against the wall at my own party."

"Are you still whining about that?" Dave asked, walking up with Karl in tow.

"He'll be whining about it for centuries," Karl stated, brushing his hand across Orlando's cheek.

"I will not," Orlando protested, leaning into the caress.

"You'd think with all the attention he gets, he wouldn't whine," Dave teased, kissing Orlando's other cheek. He gave Harry a lingering kiss before turning his attention to the others. "Glad you could make it, Craig."

Karl smiled. "Nice of you to pay a visit to the rest of us plebeians."

"Occasionally I must brave the world, see my domain," Craig said, grinning.

"Craig...what a pleasant surprise." Everyone turned as Viggo walked up.

Craig hugged Viggo, pulled back, wide grin on his handsome face. "And you haven't come up to the house in forever, tiger."

"I did not just hear that," Orlando stated.

"Yes, you did." Harry tried to smother a laugh, leaning into Karl for support.

"Tiger, hmm?" Sean shook his head sadly. "Are you keeping secrets, Vig?"

"I'm always keeping secrets," Viggo said with a wicked grin.

Orlando laced his fingers with Karl's, leaned against Harry, grinned at Dave. "Gramps, a tiger? Sounds intriguing."

"Sounds vaguely disturbing," Dave stated.

"Sounds rather disgusting," Dom shuddered.

Sean held him close. "Don't worry, you don't have to watch."

"Come on, Vig, let's get away from the children, have a decent spot of conversation."

"After you."

The group watched as Craig and Viggo walked away. When they vanished from sight, seven pairs of eyes avoided looking at each other and a few muffled snickers escaped.

"That was traumatizing," Elijah said.

"Yeah," Dom agreed.

Orlando peered at the last place he'd seen Craig and Viggo. "They're not...." He looked at Harry, then Karl. "No, don't tell me. I don't want to know."

"Relax, love," Dave said, laughing. "Vig's got to be the most celibate person I've ever met."

"If he and Craig were shagging like mad, believe me, Craig would have been all about saying something," Karl said.

"He's not nearly as uptight as Gramps," Harry continued.

"You mean he's the most like you," Sean pointed out.

"Still, though," Dom said, thoughtful expression on his face, "makes you wonder exactly why he called Viggo a tiger."

Orlando nodded. "It does. Of course, the possible images are going to keep me awake tonight, but still..." He gave a delicate shudder and was immediately squeezed by Harry, then Karl.

Harry gave Karl a considering look while stroking Orlando's back. "Suppose we could always gang up on him later and ask."

Karl responded with a wicked smile. "Good idea, that."

"Be sure to give us details."

"Of course, Sean." Karl managed to look insulted. "We always share the gossip."

Dom just shook his head. "You guys are making my head hurt."
